Insert into a flatbed scanner and place a white sheet on top.

Scan, save and upload to the site

Settings for HP G4010 scanner were “millions of colors” (24 bit color resolution – 8 bit per channel), sharpen mode; "automatically adjust black and white threshold" and "use enhanced color (vivid)". Image size ranged from 5 to 10 Mb
Output data
An index value termed BR50 at a range of 0 (green tissue) to 1 (brown tissue).
